![]() USS Yorktown
Cost is $75.00 per person, covers admission, meals, room and board, and a trip to the aquarium for two nights. Sign ups are over. Date of trip is June 13, 14, and 15. We will be meeting in front of the gift shop at Patriots Point on June 13th, at 6:00 p.m. to board the USS Yorktown together as a pack. Importance of arriving as a group: Everyone in a group should plan to arrive at Patriots Point simultaneously. Due to the nature of our Orientation Program, this is a must. Campers must be at least six years old. Patriots Point does not allow visitors and campers to bring aboard outside food and drink. A snack bar and vending machines are available in addition to scheduled meals. Each person must bring a sleeping bag, pillow, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, soap, towel, wash cloth and all other necessary personal effects. Insect repellent is advisable. Berthing areas are separated by gender, without exception. Transportation of Gear: Due to very restricted parking spaces on the pier as regulated by the State Fire Marshal, troops are required to carry all luggage from the parking area down the 600-foot pier to the Yorktown. Please pack with this in mind. Female leaders must be responsible for female participants and male leaders for male participants. We cannot take requests for specific berthing areas for a number of reasons including group sizes and gender considerations. The berthing quarters are heated and air conditioned. Shower stalls are located in the restroom facilities adjacent to all berthing quarters. The State Fire Marshall requires all campers participate in a brief fire drill. All campers must be on board YORKTOWN by 8:30 p.m., without exception. Occasionally, catered events and ceremonies take place while campers are on board. Without compromising your group's experience, campers may be asked to avoid some areas. Please call Mike Baker to confirm your family members and emergency contact numbers that are attending.
July 6th thru 9th

Summer Schedule Scout meetings follow the school year. When the scouts get out of school for the summmer, then scouting also enters into the summer program. We do not meet on Monday nights as normal. Each den can do whatever they like, but we try to have one activity a month to let the scouts have fun. Keep checking the website for the summer schedule. |
2008-2009 Scout Year If you have completed Kindergarten and or are 7 years of age you are able to join cub scouting, even for the summer if you like. We will be recruiting new scouts at the end of August. Contact us below for details. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

To allow them to enjoy there time at scouts and to help build their character as they progress thru their various stages in scouting. It is our goal to build stronger relationships within our families and to have a better tomorrow thru the boys that we help to reach manhood. We should be asking ourselves, where can I make a difference.
This pack 513 website will support the pack by providing timely and accurate information about pack activities. This site will be scouter safe, user friendly, availiable, incorporate the values of scout law and positively reflect on the pack and scouting. ![]() Pack 513 is a member of The Old North State Council
