Welcome to Empowerment Christian Center Church a non-denominational Bible teaching, family oriented church located in the great city of Durham (Research Triangle Park), North Carolina. Empowerment Christian Center is a place where you can get your needs met and learn and grow in the things of God, through the teaching of the principles of the Word of God. Obey The Lord In All Your Ways

God wants our total trust in Him; and trusting Him calls for obedience. Hebrews 11:8 says, "By faith, Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going."

The Lord knows the way through the wilderness. All you have to do is follow and He will direct your path. Just be assured that whatever God wants you to do, He will help you do.

Discovering God's will for your life is not about technique, but about relationship. The Bible affirms that God is related to his people in the same way a husband is related to his wife (Hosea 2:19, Ephesians 5:31-32).

The Bible contains much on the proper way to maintain a loving relationship with God. Abraham didn't know where he was going, but he knew with whom he was going. For the person with faith, that's enough.

If you want divine guidance, get close to God. The nearer you are to Him, the less likely you are to make serious mistakes. "The Lord will stay with you as long as you stay with Him" (2 Chronicles 15:2)...Be Blessed!
