Welcome to the Gate City Young Singers (GCYS)!
GCYS is a community youth chorus for 2nd - 12th graders.
Please contact us now to audition for the 2011/2012 Singing Season!

 
GCYS Choir Information 

Choir:

Grades(2nd-8th)

Mentors(9th grade) And Interns(10th Above)

Singers who have "graduated" from GCYS after the 8th grade are permitted to remain in the choir as mentors,
as long as their voices have not changed dramatically (this especially applies to boys.)

Mentors and Interns will help younger singers as needed and provide assistance to the directors.

They will continue to be members of Gcys and participate in all performances and activities.

Fees:

Registration-$25-includes t-shirt

Tuition-$150(Aug.-May)

Uniform-$40-girls $45-boys

 Southeast Baptist Church - Rehearsals/Concerts
SE Baptist Church - 5011 Liberty Road, Greensboro, NC 27406 Take HWY 421S to Liberty Rd. (Exit Hagan Stone Park Rd. OR Harmont Road. off of 421S.) Enter SE Baptist Church at the door under the covered entrance. Take a left into fellowship hall for rehearsals.
 
AUDITIONS
$25 Registration fee is due at acceptance to choir. :
Auditions for voice placement only.
Be prepared to sing one verse of "My County 'tis of Thee".
(Bring a friend to sing along and join together.) 		 Upcoming Events:
