 Mission and Goals:
We provide a social and emotional support network for Food Allergic Families in all stages of learning about the process of living with food allergies. We will remain constant in our dedication to teach our children how to live fully productive, interactive, exciting, and safe lives.
We are a network of friends who support each other and not a professional organization. Be sure to discuss individual health questions and medical issues with your own qualified personal physician or health professional.
Goals:
Organize social events that will place the focus on our children having safe fun, while interacting with other children just like them.
Find creative ways to allow Food Allergic Families to attend functions that might otherwise be uncomfortable or unsafe. (Example: nut-free sections at baseball games)
Plan local media events to bring attention to the realities of food allergies.
Share information on safe products, manufacturers, latest medical advances, and general life strategies.
Provide support and information to ensure newly diagnosed Food Allergic Families receive all the support they need.
Share information about food allergies with school administration, medical staff, families, and the general population striving towards positive change.
