Progressive Network Academy believes in and operates within the following 'Educational Bill of Rights' for students based upon specific parental recommendations:

1. Right to a fluid, creative educational envioronment;

2. Right to develop talents and gifts to their fullest extent possible irrespective of any real or perceived learning differences or irrespective of any physical, mental or emotional disablities;

3. Right to participate in the educational organization at a level communsurate with their maturity and ability;

4. Right to have mentor(s), if not their own parents, to facilitate learning;

5. Right to play;

6. Right to have fun while learning;

7. Right to a safe, healthy, nurturing environment;

8. Right to equal opportunity to strive for success;

9. Right to be treated with dignity from adults and other children;

10. Right to have fun with technology in a developmentally appropriate manner;

11. Right to have achievement acknowledged using proper measurements;

12. Right to refrain from high stakes standardized testing, subject grading and annual grading restraints;

13. Right to be taught HOW to think without being taught WHAT to think;

14. Right to run, jump and tumble;

15. Right to an educational environment free from all governmental and/or corporate interference which may instill an undue burden to learners and their mentors; or which may impose an unconstitutional mandate limiting natural freedoms;

16. Right to a stimulating educational environment;

17. Right to core knowledge that promotes the cultural literacy of the child;

18. Right to remain drug free; that is, right to change the environment based upon the child's style of learning instead of changing the chemical makeup of the child with pharmaceuticals;

19. Right to be part of their own family, in theory and in practice (legally and physically), which facilitates the preservation of the family as a viable unit;
