What is MOPS?
Sandhills MOPS is chartered by MOPS International, a group for Mothers of PreSchoolers. MOPS exists to meet the needs of mothers in the North Carolina Sandhills area. We are mothers from different backgrounds who all share a common desire to be the very best moms we can be.

Being a mother of a preschooler is a wonderful, magical, and incredibly rewarding time. But it's also busy, exhausting, and -let's be honest- a little crazy! We all need a break once in a while to relax, recharge, and refresh ourselves.

MOPS is the place to meet new friends and develop deep, meaningful relationships while engaging your brain in adult conversation on stimulating topics. Past speakers have addressed topics as varied as home decor and organization to teaching children reading skills and facing discipline challenges. And you get all this while your children are being lovingly cared for in our parallel program, MOPPETS.
