News
Stay tuned for more information about NYRA-Asheville. If possible, I will be having my first meeting in July if at all possible.

School is out! Thank goodness. I cannot believe that summer is over half gone. It is absolutely horrible how this summer has been flying by so fast.

My name is Adam King and I am the author of this website. I enjoy sharing my opinions; I respect that everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

Biographical Information: I am fourteen-years-old, and I am in the ninth grade at a high school in Asheville, NC. I have lived in Fairview all my life.

Academic Information: I attend a high school in Asheville, NC. I was recommended for all honors, but I decided to only take Earth Science Honors and Geometry Honors. I am in the Business path.

My Hobbies: Youth rights, reading, internet and computers, friends, skiing, running, biking, hiking, volunteering, and formerly Martial Arts.

About Youth Rights: I joined the National Youth Rights Association in January 2005. I was appointed the Associate South Regional Director in March 2005. I was promoted to South Regional Director in July 2005. Although I came really close, I was not chosen to become a director this year. However, I may be accepted as an alternate director. For more information about my involvement, go to NYRA Election - King.

About Volunteering: I began volunteering at Mission Hospitals in June 2005. I volunteer 12-18 hours a week. I really enjoy helping those in need. Volunteering is a great way to get to know many people, and it gives you a sense of accomplishment.

About Martial Arts: I took Martial Arts for five (5) years. At the time of quitting I was a black belt and an assistant sensei. I started June 1998 and quit May 2004.
