WELCOME TO THE FARGO/EASTERN ND CHAPTER OF PROJECT LINUS

This website will have the latest news and information about the Fargo/Eastern ND chapter.

COPYRIGHT WARNING:
Please do not make copies of anything I send to you that has the Linus figure on it.
The policy for the Linus likeness that Project Linus has with United Media does not allow us, or anyone who is a part of our organization, including but not limited to blanketeers, coordinators, or blanket recipients, to copy Linus.
If you need more copies of anything, please contact me and I will be happy to send out more official copies.

SUGGESTED BLANKET SIZES:
Nothing smaller than 36x42 inches, a good general size is 40 inches by 60 inches, .

Blankets can be knit, crocheted, quilted, fleece (single or double layer) or flannel.

There is a word document with fleece suggestions that you can download by clicking on the link to the left
If making a fleece blanket, buy 48 inches of fleece. After you fringe the edges and tie them, or just leave them as fringes, you end up with approx a 40x60 inch blanket.

Blankets must be made from new, washable, child friendly materials.

LETTERS OF THANKS

"I want to thank you for the blinket we received through Innovis. My 2 mo old daughter was in the hospital for dehydration this last weekend and the blinket was very comforting for her. The hospital blinkets are just so rough. It was nice to wrap her in something soft. I applaud what you are doing and have put a link to your website on my eBay site and personal website also. I intend to contribute to this wonderful cause. Great job to all!!! Hugs from Baby Morgan and her Mommy."

"Our son received one of your blankets today at the Pelican Rapids High School. Words cannot express how much we appreciate your acts of love and kindness. Over the past three days our community has seen such an out pouring of Christian love and it has greatly impacted our lives. I don't know how to tell you how much the simple gift of a blanket has meant to our son. God bless you."

"Hi- I am a parent of one of the students that was on that bus that flipped coming back from Chicago to Pelican Rapids. I'm not going into any of the tragedy that occured. My daughter and I want to thank you so much for the blanket she received. What a remarkable gift. Her blanket happened to have been ruined on that bus so this was extra special to her. She'll be heading off to college next year and I know this blanket will be one of the first items she'll be bringing with. I also work at the high school and saw the students receiving these very special blankets. At a time that everyone is hurting these were a day brightener to all. Thank you very much. The blankets are very much appreciated."
