Welcome to Legal Professionals Association of Western Nebraska
The Nebraska Legal Professionals Association (NLPA) was incorporated as of May 16, 1997 and consists of four chapters:
Central Nebraska Legal Professionals ("CNLP");
Legal Professionals of Western Nebraska ("LPAWN");
Lincoln Legal Professionals Association ("LLPA");
and
Omaha Legal Professionals Association ("OLPA").
NLPA is open to any person engaged in work of a legal nature. Yearly membership dues are paid through chapter membership.
TO establish good fellowship among the members of this association and all persons employed in and/or interested in work of a legal nature so that ideas may be exchanged and knowledge increased.
TO establish a high order of business and professional attainment and to further our knowledge of the law and uphold its honor and dignity.
TO create a high standard of ethics among its members.
EVERY YEAR WE FILL ENOUGH GARBAGE TRUCKS TO FORM A LINE THAT WOULD STRETCH FROM THE EARTH, HALFWAY TO THE MOON.

Legal Professional of the Year goes to Jody Nedella! Congratulations to Jody and keep up the good work.
Jody's employer says "She has brought to the Scotts Bluff County Public Defender's Office over 17 years experience as a legal secretary with two local firms. NLPA Annual Convention
NLPA held their 11th Annual Convention, Installation of Officers & Awards Banquet in Scottsbluff at the Trails West Camp on April, 25-27 2008. The theme was "It Isn't Easy Being Green" ...Kermit the Frog, Environmental Issues Facing Us Today. During this Seminar we educated our members on environmental issues. We were honored to have 3 guest speakers, Becky McMillen, Digital Film Maker/Artist/Storyteller, Jennifer Hoevet, Civil/Environmental Engineer, and Brian Lockwood, Attorney. Special thanks to all who helped plan and host the convention. Annual Convention will be held in Grand Island in 2009. Hope to see you there!
