Every month, a different educational program is held during the regular day and evening meetings. For information about programs held in 2007, please read on!
February 2007 Program:
Blackwork Study Box
The study box was presented to both the evening and the daytime groups. The box contained everything from historical to contemporary applications. Beautifully displayed. Many examples of blackwork.
March 2007 Program:
Stitching for Outreach & Charity
We'll discuss lots of opportunities to contribute to well-deserving organizations through our stitching.
April 2007 Program:
Programs for the Year.
Discussion on the value of learning a particular stitch or knot. Buillion Knot was the first knot that everyone wanted to learn.
May 2007 Program:
Correspondance Course
We did a survey of the members and "Crewel Confidence" was the choice. We will begin this course sometime in late August. We will be learning a lot of new stitches. Everyone is excited!
July 2007 Program:
Buillion Knot/Stitch
One of our members presented a hands-on program doing the Buillion Knot. This know was a request from members in our group. We were all pleased with the results.
October & November 2006 Program:
Bargello Ball
Both the daytime and evening programs for October and November will be a Bargello Ball stitched on mono canvas and assembled around a stryrfoam ball. It is a two session project, with stitching instructions the first class, and assembly the second class. Kit cost will be about $15-$20 for the full kit.
December 2006 Program:
Christmas Basket Auction, Nametage Exchange, Potluck & Secret Stitcher Meeting
Bring a fun gift basket to auction off, bid on one you'd really like, enjoy tasty treats, and meet your 2006 Secret Stitcher!

June 2005 Program:
Needlepoint Sampler
An ongoing needlepoint sampler of twenty five different 1-inch or 1.5 inch squares on 12 or 18 count mono canvas. Each person will choose their own color palette and assemble all the different fibers they might like to try on the canvas.
Materials:
- 12" x 12" Mono Canvas (if you're not using the chapter's 12-count supply)
- Pile of stash threads in color palette of your choice
- Stretcher bars & tacks for canvas
- Basic Stitching Supplies
- Enthusiasm!
July/August 2005 Programs:
2006 Heartland Region Seminar Favors
This program will be held in August for the evening meeting and in July for the Day Meeting.
Needlepoint Sampler
Informal stitching on this project or the current group correspondence course will be held at the July 4th evening meeting and the August Day meeting.
September 2005 Program:
Labor Day Holiday - No formal program. Informal Stitch-In and Pot-Luck.
October 2005 Program:
Beading

December 2005 Program:
