Crewel Confidence
Instructor: Judy Jeroy

In this advanced-beginner course, we will be learning 15 new stitches, including the stem/outline, chain, backstitch, buttonhole and many more. This is a surface embroidery course. see EGA's website HERE

17th Century English Style Sampler
Instructor: Ilse Altherr

A 9-band sampler adapted from historical needlework. It can be worked in silk or cotton on canvas or linen, according to the stitcher's preference. To see a photo and description of the completed project, see EGA's website HERE.

Dainty Trifles
Instructor: Dianne Lewandowski

Beginner's Hardanger

Members of Omaha Needle Artists completed this EGA Group Correspondence Course in Hardanger techniques in 2002. Lace Ribbons
Instructor: Dakota Rogers

Members of Omaha Needle Artists completed this EGA Group Correspondence Course in 2002. Overdyed floss was used to stitch this beautiful blackwork project. Each stitcher personalized the center square. This GCC has been retired, and can no longer be viewed on EGA's website.

Bee Sampler
Instructor: Mary Jo Wolf

Mary Jo Wolf came to Omaha to teach us this great bee and garden-themed sampler. Several members have completed the sampler and thy look great! We had four of the finished models on display at the 2003 Showcase!

Stumpwork Class
Instructor: Roseanne F.

Our very own Roseanne taught a great stumpwork class to our members in April 2003. Several members took advantage of the opportunity and learned this fun technique.
