Attention Members: New officers have been elected for 2011!

President: Vicki Siderewicz

Vicki is an accomplished stitcher. We Welcome Vicki aboard and look forward to growing under her leadership!

Evening Vice President: Rosanne Fulton

Roseann's primary responsibility as Evening Vice President is coordinating programs for the regular monthly evening meetings. Roseann has many ideas for programs in 2011!

Day Vice President: Kathy Morris

Kathy will keep the Day Meetings running smoothly and coordinates programs for the regular monthly day meetings.

Secretary: Lois LaFon

Lois' primary responsibility as secretary will be to take the minutes at the monthly meetings. Lois is an avid cross stitcher and stitches many pieces as gifts and charity donations. She is a tireless volunteer and we're excited to have her enthusiasm.

Treasurer/Finance: Deanna Marshall

Deanna keeps our books straight, our finances in order, and our membership information up to date. If you have membership renewal questions or budget/reimbursement questions, ask Deanna! Need to be reimbursed for Chapter expenses? Download the Reimbursement Form in Adobe .pdf format.

Newsletter Editor: Robin Bayless

The newsletter editor collects all the latest news and compiles it for our bi-monthly newsletter, "Needle News." The newsletter editor is also responsible for soliciting advertising sponsors to offset newsletter printing and postage costs. The newsletter editor also publishes an electronic copy of the newsletter in Adobe .pdf format.

Region Rep: Bonnie Youngblood

The chapter Region Rep keeps in touch with the Heartland Region office and keeps us abreast of issues that affect the entire region. For more information about the Heartland Region, see the Heartland Region Web Page.

COMMITTEE CHAIRS:

Librarian: Marty Hill and Gail Hooper

The librarian maintains the Chapter Library of approximately 2000 needlework-related books, patterns, and charts, including references on needlework techniques, history and culture, and EGA programs and educational resources. The Chapter library is available for use by all Omaha Needle Artists Members.

Web Administrator: Judi Busboom

As Web Administrator, Judi is responsible for getting all the great things about Omaha Needle Artists onto our web site for all to see and appreciate! See something that belongs on our page? Please forward it to the Web Administrator.

Education Chair: Unfilled

We are currently looking for an Education Chair person. For more information, see the Education Page.

Historian: Deb Boswell

The Historian keeps track of where we've been, all the fun things we have done, and members we have known. Our chapter historian collects photographs and memorabilia from our activities and organizes them for posterity. 2011 is Omaha Needle Artists 33th Anniversary - so the role of our historian is especially important as we look back on our many years of needlework and fellowship in the guild.

Outreach: Chris Fortner

The Outreach Chair is responsible for coordinating our Outreach activities in the community, such as classes held for the public or for scouting groups, bookmarks donated to public libraries, and stitched projects donated to charity. Outreach activities rely on volunteers from the chapter to donate time, energy, and knowledge about needlework. This is one of our most important roles as a non-profit organization. For more information about Chapter Outreach activities, see our Outreach Page!

New Member Liaison: Deanna Marshall

Deanna makes sure our newest members receive a warm welcome and a newcomer's information packet. For more information about EGA Membership, see our Membership Page!
