Omaha Needle Artists, EGA

Welcome to the website of Omaha Needle Artists!

Membership... is open to all stitchers...beginner, intermediate, or advanced. EGA is a non-profit, educational, charitable, non-discriminatory organization. EGA was founded in 1958. Omaha Needle Artists celebrates our 32nd Anniversary in 2010. Our mission is to:

Foster high standards of design, color, and workmanship in embroidery
Teach the embroidery arts, and
Preserve our needle arts heritage.

EGA members usually belong to local chapters, such as Omaha Needle Artists. Joining a chapter provides opportunities to meet other stitchers in your area, attend regularly scheduled programs, receive a chapter newsletter, and participate in region activities.

EGA chapter membership includes membership in EGA, a subscription to Needle Arts magazine, the Chapter newsletter, and the opportunity to participate in study, skill-building, and educational opportunities through EGA. If there is a program you would like to see at a meeting, please talk to Roseanne about scheduling. Better yet, offer to teach a class or help find a teacher. Otherwise, most meetings will be informal stitch-ins.
