About Our Pastor

A man of prayer and vision describes our Founder and Pastor, Rev. Fred Dixon Sr. He is a native of Mississippi raised in East St. Louis, IL. He is the husband of one wife of 40 years, Mrs. Elleanor B. Dixon.

The Lord called him to the ministry in 1969. He was then licensed and ordained for the ministry under the leadership of the late Bishop Vernon Richardson where he labored until 1980 when he was called to pastorate at the Mount Olive Baptist Church. He served as pastor for fifteen years.

The Lord led our Pastor to establish and organize the True Vine Missionary Baptist Church in July of 1995. In the ten years of ministry, God has blessed others near and far. We are compelling all to accept the Word of the Lord and be blessed by this family ministry of prayer and power.
