HOLIDAY LIGHTS CONTEST
For many years (except last) we have been doing the holiday light contest.
In the past we would have board members judge. The judging isn't how many lights, but what is appealing the that judge. This year I was thinking.... how about every member voting for your favorite 5 houses, via email. Then we can post the houses on the site, if approved by the homeowner
Come to our next meeting and put your two cents in.
TWO SPRINGS HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION: We are a social organization and help with general improvement. We sponsor great things like the website, the two garage sales (spring and fall), spring clean-up for the park, the Easter Egg hunt, Fall Festival, holiday lights contest, telephone directories for members, etc… We have also requested ideas to our SID and they have followed through such as adding the Pavilion in the park, putting time limit on the park, adding no parking to a certain side of the street to make it safer and so much more.
NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH: They are active in providing a safe community, with block captains, a summer safety program in the park, etc…We currently don’t have a program set up at this time, so if you know of anyone willing to head this program up please contact our president.
SID: Sanitary Improvement District. This is our legal group. They pay the bills for the street lights, street cleaning, sewer connections and maintenance, mowing the grass in the SID property areas. Your elected representatives are the people to call about, streets (cleaning, maintenance), sewers, flooding from street, park equipment maintenance, covenant questions and questions about the creek. They are currently going through an election right now but we will list phone numbers when they come available.
Two Springs Home Owners Association is still looking for new members. Dues are $10, if you are interested please check out our membership page.

At recent meeting the SID has approved some of our concerns.
Signs to limit parking on the east side of the park on 34th Street.
The park will be closed from 11pm until 5am. They are going to put in a light in the park.
There will be a sign put in for Two Springs II at the Schneekloth entrance.
Last you might want to slow down, looks like we are getting more stop signs in various parts of the neighborhood to slow down traffic.

I have found a great way to manage our email lists. Please sign up to be on our mailing list through the link below. By doing this it will automatically add your name to the list now. Please do this even if you currently are receiving email. This will ensure everyone is up to date. It is ok if you already signed up, the program will delete duplicate names. I will soon transfer to this method only so all other email addresses will be deleted.
