Monthly Birthday Parties
Each month we honor everyone's birthday that falls within the month on the last Tuesday of that month! There is a special meal that includes cake and ice cream (of course) along with a special individual cake for the birthday lady or gent to take home. We start taking reservations at the beginning of the month so to ensure your seat, please call as early as possible! The parties are a great time to come out and meet new people! WE have entertainment and a special 50/50 raffle too! |

Volunteers
Without the help of our many volunteers, our program would not be nearly as wonderful as it is today. We have volunteers everywhere, dedicating their hard work and time to ensure that we better serve all of our area Seniors. Many of our volunteers are Seniors themselves who find great enjoyment in donating their time. One such volunteer says volunteering at the center is "what keeps me going".
We deeply appreciate all that our volunteers do for us. We recognize our volunteers with a special party once a year!
While we have many volunteers currently, we are always looking for anyone who has a few hours of time to donate! We would especially like to create some new programs and/or activities at the site, so if you have ideas let us know!
We currently have an opening for a special VISTA program volunteer to spervise our computer lab and to teach basic computer classes. Call 752-2545 if you are interested. |
