Cara Rince

Cara Rince (pronounced “Kara Rink-ah”) is Gaelic. It means “Friend of the Dance”.

This site is open to dancers, parents, and friends of the Murray Irish Dance Academy.

What does Cara Rince do?
Our Mission: Cara Rince of Murray Irish Dance Academy supports programs and activities that directly benefit dancers and the community at large. We foster and coordinate parent involvement and volunteerism in the interest of celebrating and promoting the spirit and culture of Irish Step Dancing at all levels of participation and expertise.

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3)organization
What do the funds go towards?

Subsidizing dancing workshops, travel stipends for dancers going to national competitions, and end-of-the-year gifts for graduating seniors were some of the things we have helped with in past years. All funding must be approved by the board of directors. Funding opportunities may change from year-to-year based on priorities and available cash reserves.

Funds raised from our dancer's performances go back to supporting the dancers.

Fundraising

Shaw's Rewards:
All you need to do is register your rewards card. It's an easy way to help raise funds for our dancers!!

Please follow the instructions below in order to help us to continue participation in this wonderful program.

1. Visit the Shaw's website in the "links" section to the left.
2. Click on Shoppers login/register.
3. Enter your rewards card # and the 10 digit phone number you registered under.
(*Note, this info is not distributed to anyone, it is just to confirm you are the legitimate holder of the card)
4. Click on "Find Organizations", then type in Cara Rince, Stratham, NH
5. Click the box for Cara Rince with the ID# 49001019861 and then hit "Add Selected Organization"

If you shop on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursdays, and use your Shaw's rewards card, Shaw's will contribute 1% of your eligible purchases to our organization, but you must register!
