David Blaine:Master Escape Artist

David Blaine is an expert escape artist and an experenced street magician. He has preformed many great feats in his lifetime. He strarted doing magic when he saw a street magician preforming in a subway. He then decided to buy his first trick, The Pencil Through The Card.

On Monday April 5th, 1999, he was buried alive for seven days in a plexiglas container filled with 4000 pounds of water. He was only fed four tablespoons of water each day.

Another great "illusion" he preformed was being frozen in a block of ice. He had nothing but a tube for water and air, a medical team surrounding him, and a catheter to urinate. His goal was to be frozen for 58 hours. He started this "illusion" at 9a.m.on Monday, November 27, 2000.

His idol was Harry Houdini, who inspired him to become the great magician he is today.
