Cookie Sales

Cookie Sales Begin Friday, January 12th.
Other Dates to keep in mind:

January 28th – All orders must be turned into your Troop Cookie Chair

February 15th - Troop order turned in to Service Unit Chair (Lisa G.)

Tuesday, Feb. 27th – Pick up cookies, distribute and collect money

March 9th – Booth Sales begin

March 17th – All money must be turned into your Troop Cookie Chair

Pajama Party will be held on Friday, March 23nd from 7-9pm at the Primary School. All Colts Neck girls scouts are invited to attend this funfilled evening. Games, contests, crafts etc. Snacks and beverages served. Addmission to this event is a pair of new children's pajamas to benefit PAJAMA PROGRAM at Poricy Park. More details to follow, check back soon.

Service Unit Activities: The Service Unit offers various planned acivities for all troops to participate in. These activities are planned by grade coordinators (leaders). The current planned activities and their coordinator are listed below. If the activity is your grade level please reach out to the coordinator to help plan. If there is no coordinator please consider coordinating an event.

Field/pool day – 1st Grade
Beach clean up - 2nd grade
Water Stations for CN 10k – 3rd Grade

Troop Happenings

Junior Troop 1077 helped take the chill out of winter for a worthy cause. On November 17th the girls of Troop 1077, assisted by their leader, Gerry V., got together and made “no sew” Blankets for Project Linus. Project Linus NJ is a nonprofit organization that is Dedicated to providing handmade blankets and hand crafted toys to children Suffering from serious illness and trauma from birth to seventeen.

On Dec. 9th, Junior troops 701 and 791, with their leaders, Linda S., Jill H., Louise L. and Cathleen N., went to the "Holiday Express" warehouse in Shrewsbury to help assemble care packages for nursing homes and halfway houses entertained by the travelling holiday band. The following week these two troops were busy wrapping gifts for the CN Women's Club EMD to be distibuted to children who spend the Holidays in the hospital.
