Welcome to the Dogwood Service Unit Website
The Dogwood Service Unit of The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore services Jackson and Lakewood Townships.
Please return completed registrations along with payment to your leader. Please remember to check your pre-printed forms for accuracy, correcting any mistakes. Registering now means you'll have one less thing to take care of in September when school begins.
Interested in joining Girl Scouts?Come and join the fun, and see what Girl Scouting has to offer. It's never too late to join, and all girls ages 5 to 17 are always welcomed. Click on the link to "Council" on the lower left section of this page, where you can obtain more information on how to join.
For a listing of upcoming events, please click just below the calendar on the left. Please remember to get RSVP's to your leader on time, so she may submit them to the event's chairperson before the deadline. Also, please keep in mind some events are for specific age levels of Girl Scouts.
Troop Happenings-
Troop 4 took an overnight "family" trip to Hershey Park. With 45 people in attendance there was never a shortage of fun!! The girls and their families enjoyed the amenities of the hotel, visiting Chocolate World, and all the entertainment Hershey Park has to offer.

Congratulations to Ellen D. who won our Service Unit's Leader Buck Prize: A gift card to Michael's.
Project Linus- Project Linus provides love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer "blanketeers."
They also provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.

Please remember to take note of the "Service Collections" listed on fliers for Events. For each event our Service Unit chooses a local charitable organization in need of supplies. Donation items should be new/unused unless otherwise specified. Thank-you.
