HAVE YOUR TROOP'S ACCOMPLISHMENTS HIGHLIGHTED ON OUR SASSAFRAS WEBSITE!

Any troop looking for a nice trip should look into www.TheButterflyCharities.com. They do a guided tour of their greenhouse in Brick NJ and explain about 100 or so butterflies living in it. The price ranges from 10.00 p/p and down depending on the size of the group. All proceeds go to various charities. Look on line for a nice trip and maybe earn a badge at the same time.

Sassafras has jumped into this program year with a great stride! Thank you to all the adults who continue to provide the basis for a great Girl Scout journey for our girls. I would also like to welcome our newest adult members; thank you for your commitment to Girl Scouts!

If your troop has not yet established goals, please make it a priority. Troops with specific goals teach girls that their input is valued and makes the troop "their troop."

Please take this opportuntiy to reflect on your troop's adult financial responsibilities. Are all registration forms submitted? Has your troop submitted its Financial Bank Account form? Has last year's financial report been submitted? It is important to maintain accurate records as a documentation of our financial integrity. Please submit any outstanding documents!

This site is intended to be a Sassafras resource. I encourage you to share this site with girl and adult members and as a tool to encourage adult involvement and participation.
