SERVICE UNIT MANAGER'S MOMENT

Sassafras has jumped into this program year with a great stride! Thank you to all the adults who continue to provide the basis for a great Girl Scout journey for our girls. I would also like to welcome our newest adult members; thank you for your commitment to Girl Scouts!

If your troop has not yet established goals, please make it a priority. Troops with specific goals teach girls that their input is valued and makes the troop "their troop."

Please take this opportuntiy to reflect on your troop's adult financial responsibilities. Are all registration forms submitted? Has your troop submitted its Financial Bank Account form? Has last year's financial report been submitted? It is important to maintain accurate records as a documentation of our financial integrity. Please submit any outstanding documents!

This site is intended to be a Sassafras resource. I encourage you to share this site with girl and adult members and as a tool to encourage adult involvement and participation.

Thank you to all for the gift of your time. In order to make more time available to you during this busy holiday season, there will be no December meeting.

Enjoy the season!

Robin

HUGS Program Information

It is not too late to give a HUG!
HUGS is a Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore program, designed to give an opportunity to individuals and families to show their financial support for our Council. The HUGS Program provides our local Girl Scout council with funding to develop new programs and services, and to continue the great programs and services we enjoy! Please return the envelope (with or without a donation) to your advisor. Each family contributing to the HUGS program receives a HUGS patch.

The Girl Scout Promise and Law
THE GIRL SCOUT PROMISE

On my honor, I will try: to serve God and my country, to help people at all times, and to live by the Girl Scout Law. THE GIRL SCOUT LAW

I will do my best to be honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, courageous and strong, and responsible for what I say and do, And to respect myself and others, respect authority, use resources wisely, make the world a better place, and be a sister to every Girl Scout.
