WHAT HAS YOUR PTO DONE FOR YOUR SCHOOL 

The Magnolia PTO provides the students with dances, assemblies, testing snacks, assignment books and classroom books along with many other activities. In the past few years we were also able to provide the school with some much needed equipment. The PTO purchased 4 flat screen TV’s with DVD/VCR players on rolling carts, one for each wing of the school. We also purchased 2 microscopes for the middle school science lab. We have purchased Scholastic News, a monthly learning magazine, for nearly every classroom in the school. We are proud of what our PTO has accomplished and look forward a successful future.

 
DO YOU WANT TO HELP THE PTO BUT DON'T HAVE THE TIME?
Magnolia PTO is a non profit organization. As such we can accept tax deductible donations. If you would like to donate please see any executive committee member or place your donation (check or money order) in an envelope marked PTO and send it in to the main office. We will send home a receipt for your tax records. Any donation amount is appreciated and will help our students. Thank you for your generosity.

 
 
Members eligible to hold executive committee offices:

Parents or guardians of students currently attending Magnolia Public School with active membership by paying annual dues. Eligible members must attended 75% of all general meetings within an election school year. Eligible members must volunteer for five PTO activities within the election school year. These activities include but are not limited to chairperson for committees, activity chaperone and volunteer at events such as holiday shop, book fair, distribution of fundraisers etc.

 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED


WE NEED YOU! We are always looking for a few good parents to help out. You can volunteer as little or as much time as you want. Do you want to help out with the PTO, but don’t know how? Contact the committee chair of the committee you are interested in volunteering for:

MAGNOLIA PTO MISSION STATEMENT
The Mission of the Magnolia Public School Parent Teacher Organization is to support the educational needs and goals of our children. To develop closer connections between school and home by encouraging parent involvement and promoting open communication between administration, school board, teachers, staff and parents within our public school and community. To enhance the educational experience by supporting academic and enrichment activities. To improve the environment at our school by providing volunteer and financial support. And to advocate programs and activities that advance education, school spirit and a sense of community.
