Here are the steps that need to be performed by anyone having trouble removing "track changes" from a document when Workshare Compare is loaded on their computer. When working with "track changes, ACCEPT "all changes" and mark document as "final." Next, go into Workshare next to Worksite tab, click on Content Risk, then click on Remove. A pop-up box will appear with Risk Elements. Choose the hidden data elements you would like cleaned in the selected document. This will remove any comments that had been made while using track changes and/or by anyone else that may have worked with the document. If you need to keep track of edits/comments done to a document that has multiple versions, it is better to use Workshare Compare instead of "track changes". Please note that not everyone has the Workshare Compare software.

Hello Members and Happy New Year!!!

Welcome to our official external chapter website/orgsite. I know it has been a moment since we have communicated through this forum. We will make a commitment to update this page once per quarter to keep our community informed. We have a newly-appointed External Webmaster/Site Administrator, Anita Ahrens. I will work closely with Anita to bring you noteworthy information to keep you informed and up to date on our chapter and division, as well as association, news through this site.

Allow me to take a moment to explain what all we have for you. Features will include:

  • Interactive items, such as:

    • “Office Tips and Tricks,” to assist you with your day-to-day job
    • “Did You Know?,” consisting of interesting and informative facts
    • “Good News,” including career milestones and accomplishments, good grades or anything you want to share
    • “Quote of the Month,” something interesting, uplifting and/or that offers sage advice

    All Chapter members are invited and encouraged to get involved by submitting items to Anita to be posted in these interactive areas.

  • I will provide information on happenings, past, present and future, within our chapter in “Buzz from the Pres.”
  • The calendar will spotlight all of our chapter events, such as meetings and/or special programs
  • A listing of the chapter Executive Board and their contact information.
  • Introduction of new members.
  • Upcoming division and international events area.

We hope that our new website will serve to keep you informed, educated, enlightened and engaged. I would like for our entire chapter to get involved and participate. So pull out those tips and tricks, that good advice, that profound quote and all that good news and submit it to Anita. We will be sure to get it posted! Then stop by the site and visit for a while -- you are always welcome there!
