 Pack Policy

It is the mission of St. Mary's Cub Scout Pack 200 to provide our Cub Scouts and their families with a safe, healthy, and rewarding scouting experience, in accordance with the policies and regulations of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA).
Pack 200 strives to maintain a high level of training for our adult leaders. They are required to take specialized courses (on their own time) that provide them with the tools to run an effective scouting program, and maintain a high level of safety. These courses involve basic orientation to the program, youth protection, BSA regulations, and others.
Registration fees are collected annually, at the end of the year. Timely payment of registration is important, since the majority of the fee is passed on to the council or national level. Additionally, Den Leaders are authorized to collect fees for individual den activities, such as small arts & crafts projects, or for larger activites such as field trips, etc.
Each Scout family is expected to support the various fund-raisers, community service projects and pack activities. Cub Scouting is a family oriented program. Families are required to get involved with their Cub Scout.
Behavior of the Cub Scouts is the responsibility of the parents. Disruptive children (Scouts, siblings, etc.) at Den and Pack Meetings take away from the scouting experience for all. If a child has a known behavioral problem, the parents are required to supervise his behavior for the duration of the event. If the situation cannot be rectified, the scout and his family will be asked to leave the event.
