ROCKETS AWAY !!!
The Pack 200 Space Derby will be held on Saturday, November 18th in the afternoon, at Connell Hall (St. Mary's). We will have hot dogs for sale, and will be having an awards ceremony as well. This will be an exciting day, as many new scouts will be in their first space derby, and many boys will be receiving their Bobcat badges. You don't want to miss this one! Meeting will start at 1:30 PM. We will be selling hot dogs, etc.
On the evening of October 28th, we had our our Pack 200 Annual Halloween Bash in the St. Mary's auditorium. All scouts had a great time visiting the coolest haunted house in the world, AKA "Dr. Rap's House of Horrors". Thanks to all who built, participated in ,and dis-assembled our pride and joy for this halloween!
What to do with all those lightly used old Cub Scout hats, neckerchiefs, shirts, etc.? Don't toss them in the garbage, donate them back to our pack's new Uniform Bank! Need a hat? Lost a neckerchief? Don't drive all the way to Mountainside and drop a ton of cash, instead, get what you need from the "Uniform Bank"! All donors to the uniform bank will have their names entered in a raffle for a gift certificate good at our local scout supply shops.
Fall Recruiting
Fall is an excellent time to bring new boys in to the pack. Does your son have friends that might be interested in joining? Now is the perfect time, with lots of activities coming up. Each scout is eligible for special patches if they can get their friends to join up. Encourage them to bring as friend to a den meeting as our guest. We will be looking to sign up First through Fourth Grade boys this fall. We need to build up our ranks - half of the existing pack will be graduating to Boy Scouts this February!
