Monthly Open House is Saturday, May 6, 2017, 12 to 3PM

PERENNIAL PLANT SALE AND OPEN HOUSE Saturday, May 6, 2017 Plant Sale 11:00AM to 3:00 PM Open House 12:00 to 3:00 PM held at Beverly Library Annex Cooper Street, Beverly

We are open every first Saturday of the month at our new history center from 12 to 3 PM.

Our NEW location is in the old Well's Pharmacy building, also known as the Beverly Library Annex in Beverly, 433 Cooper Street..

Come and see our re-organized local history displays. We have made it easier for you to enjoy your visit with us. We have a research area for you to research family history.Come and see our new location before you donate. We treasure all our donations from our friends.

Watch the newspapers for our next Juneteenth remembrance in June 2017 at St. Stephen's Hall in Beverly.

In memory of Bette Sever and Allan Denning, members who passed away recently. We also mourn the loss of our friend Margaret Hicks Morris.

1976 Mission Statement

The purpose of this society shall be to bring together those people interested in history and especially in the history of Beverly, Delanco, Edgewater Park and the state of New Jersey. The society’s major function will be to discover and collect any material which may help to establish or illustrate the history of this area. It will collect printed material such as histories, genealogies, biographies, descriptions. gazettes, directories, newspapers, etc. The society will have available historical information and arouse interest in the past by publishing historical material in the newspaper or otherwise. The society will co-operate with the state and county historical societies to collect and preserve materials of state wide significance so that these materials can be made available to students and scholars.
