Monthly Open House is Saturday, May 5th, 2018, 12 to 3 PM

Our 2018 Juneteenth program will be a musical celebration of the120th Birthday of Paul Robeson, featuring Baritone, Keith Spencer, accompanied by piano and violin. The event will be held on June 9, 2018 from 1-3 PM at the Christ Episcopal Church located at 305 Main Street in Riverton, NJ. This promises to be a wonderful program, probably one of our best.

Thank you for attending our Antique Appraiser Day at the Beverly Methodist Church Hall on Warren Street, Beverly NJ. Ron Shaffer, ISA had a fun day appraising your treasures

Our NEW location is in the old Well's Pharmacy building, also known as the Beverly Library Annex in Beverly, 433 Cooper Street.B>

Come and see our re-organized local history displays. We have a research area for you to research family history.We treasure all our donations from our friends.

In memory of Bette Sever and Allan Denning, members who passed away recently. We also mourn the loss of our friend Margaret Hicks Morris.

1976 Mission Statement

The purpose of this society shall be to bring together those people interested in history and especially in the history of Beverly, Delanco, Edgewater Park and the state of New Jersey. The society’s major function will be to discover and collect any material which may help to establish or illustrate the history of this area. It will collect printed material such as histories, genealogies, biographies, descriptions. gazettes, directories, newspapers, etc. The society will have available historical information and arouse interest in the past by publishing historical material in the newspaper or otherwise. The society will co-operate with the state and county historical societies to collect and preserve materials of state wide significance so that these materials can be made available to students and scholars.
