.June 29th is the Juneteenth event at St. Stephen's church hall organized by RHS member Audrey Henry. Author and historian, James Paradis will speak about his book "African American at Gettysburg" and have copies to sell and sign. Riverfront HS will have our Civil War display there. This event helps support the Beverly Library 1 to 4 PM.

Many thanks to all helped us honor the 23rd Regiment 150th anniversary. Burlington County's own Civil war regiment in 1862-1863 on June 8th 2013.

1976 Mission Statement

The purpose of this society shall be to bring together those people interested in history and especially in the history of Beverly, Delanco, Edgewater Park and the state of New Jersey. The society’s major function will be to discover and collect any material which may help to establish or illustrate the history of this area. It will collect printed material such as histories, genealogies, biographies, descriptions. Gazetteers, directories, newspapers, etc. the society will dissipate historical information and arouse interest in the past by publishing historical material in the newspaper or otherwise. The society will co-operate with the state and county historical society to collect and preserve materials of state wide significance so that these materials can be made available to students and scholars
