Welcome back to what will be another great year of scouting! The Fall season will be lots of fun for all our new and returning boys as well as our new Tigers and Lions.

Our Summer Program was lots of fun....

The Pack camped in June at the Vernon Camporee...they got to go for a hike on the Appalachian Trail, tryout the Zip Line, try their hand at Totem Pole Carving, BB Guns, and Archery...as well as did a great skit at the evenings fire.

We did a Family Camp Out in July at Swartswood Lake...the boys go to build and launch Water Bottle Rockets and play games.

In August we did our Splash Party at Lake Neepaulin. Everyone had fun swimming, playing games, and eating!

Cub Scout Pack 97 Sussex New Jersey

We are a small, but growing Pack chartered by The Sussex Elks Lodge located in Sussex NJ at the end of the Sussex County Airport Runway. Our goal is to provide boys in 1st through 5th grade an opportunity to learn a variety of skills while having fun

Pack 97 Members Pack 97 Members Hey Look, we have a completely functional website. We even own www.sussexpack97.com We have a calendar of events, and in the event we need to cancel an event, we will be able to post it on the website as well. We have a photobucket account to post all your pictures, and loads of information. Please continue to check back frequently for updates. Thank you!!!!

Pack Meeting

First Pack Meeting is September 28th...it will be lots of fun to have all the boys together again.

Lolly Pop Show and Sell is Saturday, October 6th...please sign up!

We will be having a uniform inspection at every Pack meeting. The Cubs should be wearing their Class A shirt, neckerchief, and hat. Also, the boys should wear either jeans, khakis, jean shorts, knaki shorts, or olive green scout shorts. This will allow the wearing of the scout belt with beltloops. The shirt should be tucked in at all times. This will teach the boys self respect, as well as pride in scouting. There will be a special reward for those scouts who pass inspection all year long!!!! We need the parents help with this, we know it may not be easy.

Typically, we have the pack meeting on the third friday of each month.

Every Friday 6–9p.m. $9 dinner special includes: salad, entree, dessert, coffee, and tea. Beverages available for purchase as well as a limited Grille Menu.
