Nut and Magazine Sale-
Our first product sale of the season is coming to a close. Please encourage your Scout families to turn in their orders on time. The depot delivery date will be announced shortly. Keep in mind that product sales are a terrific way for troops and older girls to fundraise their way to their dreams! Questions? Contact Jean S.As discussed at our SU meeting, Scouting for Food takes place on the following dates. November 7th bags go out to houses. November 14th- bags are collected and brought to our local food pantries in Tuckerton and Little Egg Harbor.
Please consider signing up to cover an area, especially in the Little Egg district. Please contact Jean S. for area and how many bags (approx.) you will need.
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HELPED MAKE THIS YEAR'S ENCAMPMENT ONE OF THE BEST YET! GIRLS AND ADULTS ALIKE HAD A GREAT TIME, DESPITE THE OCCASIONAL DOWNPOURING OF RAIN. tHE sCOUTS ALSO HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE NEW FRIENDS AND TRY NEW THINGS LIKE THE ZIP-LINE TOO!
Thanksgiving Night Tree Lighting and Service Projects-
Come and join the Girl Scouts of White Pines as we sing carols and send well wishes to kick off the Holiday season. The annual floating tree lighting will take place on Thanksgiving eve at dusk at Tip Seaman Park. Troops encouraged to make posters to hang about town. Please contact Cathy G. for more info.
Food Scavenger Hunt Relay will tentatively take place December 5th. troops can form relay teams to scavenge for food items on their lists. More info to follow.
Please bring any other Service Project ideas to November SU SWAP meet.
