Assignment
Please review the following assignment carefully. It is due on the first day of class (no exceptions).
- Begin by reading the essays(coming soon) – they cover the concept of themes in AP World History and will help you to get in the frame of mind for the course and the essay you will be writing about the novels on the first days of class.
- Read the novels and complete the theme chart. (also coming soon) Bring this to class on the first day.
- Construct two timelines of major historical events, one from Ishmael and one from The Kite Runner. Include no less than 10 dates and no more than 15 dates on each timeline. The timelines must reflect the scope of each novel. Please include a page number with the event. (check back in late May for a sample timeline)
