Where have the canals been?

Now most canals are completely filled in. The dirt will transform the city. The canals once were used as transit but now a traffic obstacle. Ferries will be cut short.

The canals sadly is only down to 3 canals, which are the oldest canals. Parts of the newest of the third are filled in. Half of the canal is under filling process. Some of the dried canals will be used to build the new Line 8 tunneling from the Northwest to the Southeast.

Abolition of the Farthing

The farthing, a quarter of a penny, will be phased out on March 2006. Prices will be increased to the nearest half pence. This is due to the lackage of materials for coin making. We kindly beg you to return your farthings. I will offer a rebate of 2 coconuts for each farthing.
