Welcome to your site Site...
(Bookmark this page now!) Now what? We designed each section of this page to show you how the different areas will look after you edit the text in them. Each section has a description of the layout (like full column). Start using your page now by using one of two methods. The bar above this section has two "buttons" hidden in it. Take your mouse and "hover" on the above colored bar at the left end and a little closer to the middle. A title pops up that says Page. Another title pops up further over to the right that says Office. Clicking on either title brings you to the different sections of your OrgSite. Look in the lower left-hand column and locate the words: "Login: Page | Office". These words "link" into the two areas of your OrgSite (the second method of entering your page). Either choice requires you to login, have it handy!
Time to start editing! Choose Page from one of the options described above, login, and here we go! Notice the page still looks basically the same but edit buttons have appeared. Press the edit button you want to start with and follow the directions that "pop up." Here, you can change your background, upload your own main image and clip art, as well as change your text. Use the on-line help or print the help section for more information on your Orgsite. This area has an optional photo or graphic with caption or an introduction to your site. The text you place here "wraps" around the graphic you selected.
| Full Column Bold intro
the content in this area goes across two columns. Take some time to look over your options with this page. You'll find that you can turn off or delete this paragraph to get just two columns (below). Or you can do the reverse; turn off or delete the following columns and type everything here. When you are ready, you may find it easier to use your word processor then cut & paste back and forth. Note that although you may use something like "Word" and spell check, remember the final text you paste into the page will not hold any formatting and when you save it, you MUST select "Save file as: Text". . The "HTML" code below may be helpful to dress up the different areas. Column headings will automatically be bold. Click the edit button. Notice in the window that the text has some formatting. The code you see is really basic and both on-line help and the pop-up help give basic information to help you use this feature. Remember, you can just type and forget HTML if this seems too daunting!
Look in this area to see how to separate a paragraph, make a word bold, how to italicize and so on. Each window works the same way.

Netscape Notes This site gets current content from databases to diplay events in real time. Users of Netscape should set their options -> Network Preferences -> to Verify documents "Every Time". This is especially true when you are editing your page or using your "Office" tools. If you do not do this, you will need to click "Reload" many times to see your updated changes.

Edit this information by entering your "Office." (Site Info folder) If you want to use the map option you have to have a valid street address and zip code. The map button only shows if you have chosen the option. This map feature is also available in the events section. |
Bulk Email tool This feature allows you to send bulk emails to your members. Use your "Office" link below. Also Notice the email response form below. Anyone accessing your site can directly contact you here. Visitors may also add themselves to your mailing list. The visitor entries will have a "web listed" caption near their name to separate those people from you actual members.
