The Moor Center
operates a summer youth employment program and provides family and
individual counseling for those with a history of chemical dependence.
Other services include detoxification and housing assistance,
vocational training and referral and HIV/AIDS testing and counseling.
They also operate a community soup kitchen, and provide social and
advocacy services.

Cathedral Community
Cares provides an array of support services to those in need. These
include a Crisis Center, emergency food and a soup kitchen, a shelter for
men, professional and emergency clothing, emergency pantry, advocacy,
training and intervention.

The Soup Kitchen
provides three meals every Sunday
Breakfast is served
at 10 AM, guests are welcomed into the dining area at 9:00 AM where social
workers offer advocacy and counseling.
Lunch is served at 12:30 PM, and as clients leave a take home dinner bag is
offered. Between Breakfast and Lunch, emergency clothing and pantry is
sometimes distributed, support groups and individual counseling is
available. Sometimes health and movie videos are shown.

Management
The Homeless Hotline is a 24 hour-a-day, 365 day-a-year information,
referral, and crisis intervention service to persons who are homeless or
at risk of becoming homeless. Assistance is also available for individuals
and agencies who are assisting the homeless.
Staff and trained volunteers provide crisis intervention and case planning
as well as provide information and referral in the area of emergency
housing, shelters, food, clothing, financial, legal, landlord/tenant
disputes, and social services
Kid's

The Kid’s Helpline provides school-age children,
adolescents, and parents with immediate and confidential support and
problem solving assistance for problems of every day living through a
24-hour-a-day telephone counseling service.
Callers who talk of suicide, depression, and drug
and/or alcohol use/abuse receive assessment and timely linkage to
appropriate agencies and community services.
