CDFM Program
Welcome to the local offering of the Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) examination series. The American Society of Military Comptrollers hopes you will find this opportunity to be both convenient and of benefit to your professional development goals.
You’ve been authorized to purchase the “Special Arrangement” examination(s) that you stated when you indicated a desire to participate in this examination offering. If you wish to take additional exams you must first contact the CDFM staff. Please follow the directions as specified below:
1. READ ALL THE DIRECTIONS BEFORE YOU BEGIN
2. Go to www.asmconline.org, “mouse over” on CERTIFICATION
3. Click on EXAMINATION CENTER, then click on “Click her to continue”
4. A pop up window titled TRAINING AND EDUCATION CENTER appears
5. If you are a new user, click on BROWSE THE CATALOG. If not simply enter the student ID and password that you created when you first purchased an exam.
6. Select the examination(s) you wish to purchase. REMEMBER, for this event you must purchase a SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT examination. If you mistakenly purchase a commercial testing center exam you will need to seek a refund through the SUPPORT CENTER link on the website. The ASMC can not process a refund.

7. When you’ve finished shopping click on the CHECKOUT button
8. If you are a new user you will be required to provide some information and you’ll be asked to create a student ID and password. The last item you will need to enter is your candidate ID (see your CDFM Program Welcome Letter). If you are a returning user you will only need to verify your previous information and enter your candidate ID
9. Next you will move to a secure payment site where you will need a major credit card to pay for your purchase.
10. On the day of the exam you will log into your student account (student ID and password) to take your exam(s). Be sure to remember your ID and password. The ASMC CDFM staff will not be able to help you with this.
