A note of thanks.

Along the years you come across a few people that really dedicate themselves to the kids, sports, PTA, PTSA, etc., etc., etc. These people actually make a difference, giving of their time unselfishly and never saying no.....our current Vice-President, Jacqui Schwicke is that type of person. She has been a volunteer with the PTA and the PTSA for over 10 years, holding board positions all that time. As her boys have moved up, so has Jacqui, and now her last two are graduating (Congrats Kevin and Robert.) Which left Jacqui to a very difficult decision....stay with the PTSA or move along with the boys. Jacqui has decided to step down, and hand her torch over to the PTSA Board taking over.

We would like to introduce you to your PTSA Board.

With that being said, it is with our sincere gratitude that we say goodbye to Jacqui. With thanks for the knowledge and wisdom that she has shared with us. And to know that if we need her, she will still be there for us. May this next phase bring excitement and challenges to her. Thank you Jacqui for all you have done.

GREAT EXPECTATIONS FOR THE 2011-2012 YEAR!

Plans for the upcoming school year will include guest speakers at the monthly meetings. Also, monthly newsletters including information from the department heads, again to keep everyone informed. In order to receive the newsletters, we must have your email address. Please send it to us, whether you are a PTSA member or not, we want to keep everyone aware of what is going on.

Suggestions are invited and welcomed. Let us know what you would like the PTSA to do for you.

COOKBOOK FUNDRAISER

Cookbook Fundraiser!

Unfortunately, due to a lack of response, this cookbook will not be published until next year.....

On a positive note, it gives us so much time to make it GREAT!

The Bellport High School cookbook can now be filled to the brim with the best recipes from the best cooks in our community and we still need your favorite recipes!

The cookbooks will be presented with plastic comb binding, section dividers, and your name will be on the page with your recipe. This will most definitely become a cherished keepsake on your kitchen shelf!

We would like to have three or four of your favorite recipes as soon as possible. Tell your friends, their recipes could definitely be used in our cookbook.

Classes, teachers, students, groups... if you have a favorite snack that reminds you of this group, add it. The more recipes, the better the book!

On the left hand side of this page is a form you can use to submit the recipe. If you decide to do it this way, please have your student bring it to the main office and put it in the PTSA mailbox

We are anticipating a great demand for these cookbooks, so we want to be certain we are ordering enough cookbooks. It would help us immensely if you would let us know how many cookbooks you want us to reserve in your name . . . remember, if you don’t reserve your copies now, we may not have a cookbook for you!
