Mission Statements 

BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA It is the mission of the Boy Scouts of America to serve others by helping to instill values in young people and to prepare them to make ethical choices during their lifetime in achieving their full potential. The values we strive to instill are based on those found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

TROOP 303 Troop 303’s vision is to have a boy run/adult supervised organization whose goal is to provide an atmosphere for growth in which a Scout may develop into a young adult who is a mature responsible citizen. To accomplish our vision, we will provide each scout with the opportunity to:

  • have FUN!
  • develop new interests and learn new skills
  • learn the fundamental elements of teamwork
  • have new experiences
  • take responsibility for his conduct, his appearance, and for his own achievements
  • be helpful and to do his best
  • develop self-esteem
  • prepare for new and greater challenges
  • handle the responsibilities he has to God, to country, to others and himself
  • keep himself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.

    How to join Troop 303:
    Scouting is open to all boys who have:
  • Completed 5th Grade - or -
  • Are 11 Years Old - or -
  • (It's not necessary to have been a cub scout to join)

    So, all you have to do is:

  • Complete a membership application
  • Give the completed application and fees to the Scoutmaster
  • Obtain a copy of the Boy Scout Handbook
