Welcome to the Old Dominion Chapter

Canine Companions for Independence (CCI) is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships. The Old Dominion Chapter is centered in the Richmond area and also includes members in surrounding central Virginia, western Virginia and Tidewater. Our chapter volunteers support CCI on a local level by raising public awareness about CCI, recruiting new applicants and puppy raisers, and organizing fund raising events. We have an ongoing schedule of events throughout the year and we welcome new volunteers! Please contact our chapter president Debbie Zilka.
