News: Next Event: Our Annual Holiday Luncheon will be held at Joel's Frontyard Steak- house, corner of Routes 31 and 365, Verona, NY on Saturday, Dec. 5th. Hospitality time is 12 noon, lunch served at 12:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person, including tax and tip. R.s.v.p. to Joanne at skywater@dreamscape.com, or jgbolton@dreamscape.com by Nov. 30th. Entree choices are open steak sandwich with french fries, baked chicken breast topped with mushrooms and crumbs with baked potato, or fried haddock and a Maryland crab cake with french fries. Lunch also includes tossed salad with house dressing, rolls, coffee, tea or soda and dessert. |

The Ninety-Nines began in 1929, when 99 of the 117 women who held pilot licenses at that time joined together and formed an organization which was named for the 99 charter members. In 1931, Amelia Earhart became the organization’s first president.
The Mission Statement of the Ninety-Nines, Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for profit organization, is:
PROMOTE world fellowship through flight
PROVIDE networking and scholarship opportunities for women and aviation education in the community
PRESERVE the unique history of women in aviation
Central New York Chapter was chartered May 29, 1974. Our meetings are held monthly, usually on the first Saturday morning of each month. We welcome women who are student pilots, women who hold pilot certificates and fly either professionally or for fun, and we are happy to encourage anyone, female or male, with an interest in aviation - we love to fly and to talk about flying!
