COBBLES PTA MISSION: To support, enrich, and broaden the educational experiences of all Cobbles students.
The Cobbles Parent Teacher Association works to support and further the education of students at Cobbles Elementary School. The PTA supports the Arts in Education program, provides volunteers in the school, and plans numerous social activities for students and families throughout the year.
If you have any questions, concerns or ideas, please do not hesitate to contact either Mary O'Brian or Diane Wilson. E-mail links are in the left column of this page.
Our primary objectives are to:
- be a bridge between home and school by: facilitating open communication, promoting positive parenting, encouraging active participation, and fostering a supportive relationship between parents, teachers, principal, other school staff and district representatives;
- to provide opportunities to increase physical, intellectual, social, and character learning;
- to create and preserve a strong, close-knit community within our school where people are familiar with and support one another;
- to build a bridge between our school and the community at large by inspiring responsible citizenship;
- to advocate on behalf of all children;
- to evaluate programs and events to assure consistency with the Cobbles PTA MIssion Statement and Objectives

How can you help?
As an organization, the Cobbles PTA is mindful of the need for parents and staff to balance family, work, and volunteer time. We ask only that you contribute whatever time and funds you can to keep a balance that's comfortable for you and your family. We're asking you to consider the new Family Membership for only $10. However, if you prefer, you can still become a member at the single or community rate of $5. Membership dues help fund the programs and events we offer throughout the year. Becoming a member does not obligate you to volunteer your time.
