Welcome to Pack 590
My name is Ed Markiewicz and I am the Cubmaster for Pack 590. I would like to say that I am solely responsible for running this wonderful pack but I can't. I have four assistant cubmasters, Andy Zuch, Rick Pollich, Mike Vitucci and Mike Casalotti, and many other behind the scenes volunteers.
Our pack is comprised of 65 boys ranging from Tigers to Second Year Webelos and we are all about fun. Fun not only for the Cub Scouts but also for the entire family. We invite your sons and your families to all Pack Nights and outings. It's a great opportunity to spend some quality time with your family while meeting other families.
Our pack is very active thanks to all of our volunteers. We go camping, attend Broadway shows, charity works, Islander games, create floats for parades, and most importantly run the best technologically advanced Pinewood Derbys with our sophisticated metal track with electronic timers and instant replay on audio and video.
So again I invite you to stop by and see our Pack and what we are all about. Maybe we can convince you to stay and make a positive difference in your childs life.
