Arts education not only cultivates imagination, self-expression, and creativity, but also plays a vital role in the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
It promotes visual literacy, which enables students to analyze and interpret the meaning of complex visual imagery that permeates the media and popular culture.
RECYCLE FOR ART! with Award Winning Children's Book Author and Artist Joyce Raimondo
On November 4th & 5th Joyce will be visiting Fairfield to create amazing artworks from recycled junk with our first and second grade students
Please send in any recyclables to school for the
students to create amazing art.
There will be a box in the main lobby.
Please collect any of these small recyclables to share with everyone to create artworks:
plastic bottle tops
small broken toys or game pieces such as old Legos etc.
buttons and beads
DO NOT bring glass, metal cans, large objects, alcohol related products, or any product with food on it.
REDUCE, REUSE,RECYCLE FOR ART!
