President's Message:
YANKEE CANDLES ARE DUE TO COME IN ON FRIDAY, MARCH 5. A NOTICE WILL GO OUT AS TO WHEN PICK UP WILL BE. MOST LIKELY, TUESDAY, MARCH 9.

Everyone,

We've made it through half the year. I hope everyone is staying nice and warm!!! Spring will be here soon!!!

The PTA is paying, in part, for the Dancing Classrooms. If anyone has a fifth grader I'm sure you've heard all about it. It's wonderful to watch the kids transform over the year. I can't wait to see the final show at the end of the year. They do such a great job!

Science boards are on sale now for $3.00 each. A notice should go home this week. Bingo night is coming on March 5. I hope everyone can make it! It's a lot of fun. Bingo boards are 5/$1.00 or $.25 each. We will be selling refreshements and doing a few raffles. If anyone would like to donate an item to be raffled please let the PTA know.

Please take notice that the Mother's day plane sale dates have been changed to May 3 & 4. The ELA test is being given that week so we had to change the date.

In May we are also having a staff appreciation luncheon. If anyone would like to send in a dish we would greatly appreciate it. There are about 100 staff members (but you don't have to make a dish that big). We also need drinks and desserts. The date of the luncheon is Thursday, May 13. Just something to keep in mind.

Yearbooks will go on sale soon. There are a limited number so please order yours soon.

We're always in need of volunteers to help out with our many events. If you're interested in helping out, come to one of the PTA meetings (see schedule above)to hear what is going on and how your help is needed, or drop us an email (at the bottom of this page) and we will contact you to answer any questions you may have. YOU DECIDE how much or how little you would like to be involved. Come on down and meet some of the many parents who are working to make a difference at FPL!
