Welcome to Frank P Long PTA Website...
Frank P Long Intermediate School is a two-year school that prepares our children for the years ahead in junior and senior High School. Wouldn't this be a great time to show your child how important school is by being involved and knowing what's going on in their school? We invite you to come out and join us at our PTA Meetings to find out what is happening in and around our school.
We've had a successful year with our PTA Board and actively involved parents. We will try to keep you up to date on PTA events with our webpage and as we go into our next school year, we welcome any questions and/or suggestions that you may have. Drop us a note (below) and let us know what you think. We encourage parents to get involved. Volunteers are greatly appreciated!
Hi Everyone,
Welcome back to another exciting year at Frank P. Long! I hope everyone's year has gotten off to a great start! There have been a lot of changes this year.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone at meet the teacher nights. While you're there please check out the PTA table. We will have sign up sheets and membership forms there. Stop by and see us. We can always use your help. This year we are giving away a free FPL magnet to the first 100 families to sign up for the PTA. If you wish to just buy the maganets they are $5.00 each.
We have a lot planned for this year. Class parent sign up forms will go home sometime the week of the 14 of September. Please fill them out and return them ASAP if you wish to be considered for your child's class parent. Our Book Fair is also coming up in October (14 - 16). We will need lots of help with that and we will be having a night fair (the same night as the first PTA meeting) on Thursday October 15 at 7pm. Picture days are October 1 (for fourth grade) and 2 (for fifth grade). In November we have the Mother/Son dance coming up. It's a great event and to all the moms out there, if you can convince your boy to go please try and attend. I promise you'll both have fun!!!
We look forward to hearing from you all and seeing you at many events. We welcome any input you wish to give and would love to hear any new ideas you might have.

We're always in need of volunteers to help out with our many events. YOU DECIDE how much or how little you would like to be involved. Come on down and meet some of the many parents who are working to make a difference at FPL!
