Welcome to Frank P Long PTA Website...
Frank P Long Intermediate School is a two-year school that prepares our children for the years ahead in junior and senior High School. Wouldn't this be a great time to show your child how important school is by being involved and knowing what's going on in their school? We invite you to come out and join us at our PTA Meetings to find out what is happening in and around our school.
We've had a successful year with our new PTA Board and new webpage and as we go into our next school year, we welcome any questions and/or suggestions that you may have. Drop us a note (below) and let us know what you think. We encourage parents to get involved. Volunteers are greatly appreciated!
Here are the plans for the 5th grade picnic...It will be held on Friday, June 20 from 11am to 2pm at Frank P. Long. A notice will go home with the changes on it.
We are so sorry for the mix up. We have been going crazy looking for a place to have the picnic as well as a time and date. These were circumstances beyond our control.
Thank you to everyone who so generously donated food and drink for staff appreciation day! Your donations were greatly appreciated and enjoyed by all. We can't thank you enough for all the support you have given us over this past year.
Our new board for next year is: Co-Presidents, Jane Trowbridge and JoAnn Stephani; Co- Vice Presidents Nicole May and Diane Bressler; Secretary, Lori Walsh; Treasurer, Debbie Uhrie; Volunteer Coordinator, Diane Lento and ???. We need a PTA council rep. as well as a hospitality person. If anyone out there is interested please let us know!
The last PTA meeting will be a dinner meeting at Sicilia D'oro in East Patchogue (Swan Lake Shopping center) on June 18 @ 7:00pm. All are welcome. A notice should go home this week about it. Dinner will be about $22.00 plus tax and gratuity.

YOU DECIDE how much or how little you would like to be involved. Come on down and meet some of the many parents who are working to make a difference at FPL!
