What is the Horse Show?
Welcome to the St. Clement's Saratoga Horse Show Volunteer Website!!
We are an all volunteer Horse Show.
Funding from the horse show helps to enhance the educational experience of the St. Clement's Children.

The show runs for 2 weeks.
The 2008 dates are
May 6th- 11th and
May 14th -18th .
We are fortunate enough to use the grounds across
from Yaddo on
Union Avenue adjacent to the
Saratoga Race Course on Union Avenue.
Premier rider and jumper competitions.
Only the riders, trainers and specific show personnel are directly involved with the horses.
The Horse Show is run ENTIRELY by volunteers!! We rely on our school, church and community families to help out in the many areas needed to make each show a success.
Many volunteer jobs are available to suit any taste or talent. Food is prepared daily in our kitchen trailer on site. We have a Food Tent in which all food is served and sold including a grill for made to order items.
Aside from food service, there is a souvenir tent, admissions booth, grounds and operations, beverage service and other miscellaneous tasks.
This is the largest school fundraiser! Funds raised directly impact the educational experience of the children. Each year we contribute anywhere from $60,000 to over $100,000. Through a variety of programs, building and grounds maintenance, financial assistance to the school, and meeting special classroom needs, we strive to be a major contributor to the high quality education of St. Clement’s children
We rely 100% on volunteers to run the horse show. We are grateful to the faculty and families of St.Clements school and church, Saratoga Central Catholic High School Students and various community members for volunteering their services to make the show a success each year.
We Hope you will think about joining us as a new or returning volunteer this year. It is a fun place to be and a great place to meet the many people that care about St. Clement's school.

Job descriptions:
Grounds and Operations: Kitchen: Food prep, cutting, slicing, cooking, baking, making salads, sandwiches, dish duty. A very fun social job!
Grill: Made to order grilled and fried items from breakfast to dinner! Fun, social and yummy.
Food and Beverage Server: Serving hot foods and beverages.
Cashier: There are two cash registers in the food tent. You can sit on the job here!
Souvenir Tent: Selling horse show merchandise. Just like retail but smaller!
Admissions booth:Collecting money and handing out brochures at parking lot entrance. Bring a friend and share the job!
Office Trailer: Occasionally we need assistance in the office trailer for phones, paperwork or general assistance.
VOLUNTEERS ARE A MAJOR NECESSITY A FEW WEEKS PRIOR TO THE SHOW FOR SET UP(raking,painting,setting up fencing, cleaning kitchen and stocking supplies to name a few). WE ALSO NEED HELP FOR BREAK DOWN AFTER THE SHOW ENDS.

Please note that when you copy and paste, the form changes a bit and the TUESDAY 5/6 is moved over to the second week. There is no Tuesday in the second week! Sorry for and confusion this may cause! If you print it direct, you can send it in to school.
