WM’s words/thoughts of the evening:

If you experience a problem and need help of any kind, please call the WM or S. Secretary so that the Chapter may help you or we can procure help for you from Grand Chapter.

Pajama’s origins lie in the breezy loungewear of the Near East and the Indian Subcontinent, having been worn in that part of the world for centuries.  The word comes from the Persian word “payjama” meaning “leg garment” and originally simply referred to a pair of loose men’ trousers tied around the waist..  The loose-fitting, breezy style of these garments helped wearers stay cool in the hot climate of that region.  Like so many things, the British imperialists in the area brought pajamas back home and began utilizing them as “men’s sleepwear” in the late 1800s.

Respectfully submitted

            Yvonne Cobb, Secy
