THANK YOU to all who use their TARGET RED CARDS! Last year we earned $321 from this program. We will do even better in the 2008-2009 school year! We're already up to $258. Remember, anyone can participate, so feel free to ask friends and relatives out of state to support Orenda in this easy way. IF YOU HAVE A TARGET RED CARD, please be sure to register it for ORENDA and our school will earn $$ every time you use it. For more information on Target's TAKE CHARGE OF EDUCATION program, scroll to the bottom of this page and look for the Target logo. My school is collecting Box Tops for Education. They are the little pink "coupons" that you can find on General Mills cereals, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury and lots of other products. They are even on Kleenex, Cottonelle, Ziplock, Saran Wrap, Viva and Juicy Juice! I'll bet you have some at your house right now!
Each Box Top is worth 10¢. Last year our school earned $4,823 from Box Tops, and we'd like to do it again in the coming school year. Can you believe our school can make money on something that is normally thrown in the trash? Please don't throw away any Box Tops you have! I would really appreciate it if you can send them to me. It will help me and my classroom to win Box Top Prizes, and the money we earn from Box Tops helps the PTA to provide great programs for Orenda students!

PS: You don't have to rip up your food boxes to send me Box Tops. If you take an exacto knife and gently cut around the Box Top, you can peel it right off. It makes the Box Top easy to mail!
