Every Pack is under the supervision of a pack committee

Our Pack is supported by parent volunteers and its success is dependent on your involvement. Become a volunteer and share in the excitement of scouting!

Here is a list of positions and a brief description of each. If you are interested at all, please contact Crystal Freitag at 659-8610. If the position is already filled, still let us know about your interest as they may need an assistant or they may be looking to transition out of the position.

Pack Committee

Every Pack is under the supervision of a pack committee. It can be run with a minimum of 3 members. However, the larger the committee - the stronger it is. With more members, it is better able to perform all the required functions to ensure a successful pack program.

Assistant Committee Chair - Assists and fills in for Committee Chair when needed.

Secretary/Communications Chair - (Katie Rath) Maintains Pack records, records minutes at monthly Committee and Leader meetings, handles Pack correspondence.

Treasurer - (Judy Zinsmeister) Manages and maintains all Pack financial records and bank accounts. Maintains and reports monthly on Pack financials. Manages Scout Accounts.

Budget Chair - Develops and maintains the Pack budget. Can be combined with treasurer position if needed.

Advancement Chair - Manages and coordinates the Pack's Scout advancement plans, plans recognition ceremonies, and promotes the wearing and proper use of uniform and insignia. Collects den advancement reports and arranges for purchase of badges, pins and other forms of recognition awarded by the Pack to Cub Scouts.

Newsletter Editor/Web Master - Collects, composes and publishes monthly Pack newsletter and/or web site information.
