This is your source for information about Confirmation Class and youth events. Be sure to check this site frequently for updates, acolyte and snack schedules and the Question of the Week!

*Sunday, February 5: Souper Bowl Sunday: Confirmands "staff the kettle" as we ask parishioners to give $1.00 to combat hunger...and vote for their favorite team. Who will win?
*Wednesday, February 8: NO CONFIRMATION CLASS! PoP will be hosting a dinner for the Conference that evening. We can use 4 helpers from the Confirmation Class. If you can help, please e-mail Judy Mayfield.
*Wednesday, February 22: NO CONFIRMATION CLASS! Ash Wednesday and Spring Break!
*Friday/Saturday, February 24 & 25: 30 hour fast and overnight hosted by St. John's Altamont to focus on world hunger.
*Wednesday, April 11: NO CONFIRMATION CLASS! Spring Break!
*April 20-22: Youth Quake! A weekend event retreat in Parsippany, NJ with great speakers and musicians. Middle School and High School kids are welcome to come!
*July 1-7: Confirmation Camp is tentatively scheduled for this week at the wonderful Camp Fowler!
*July 28-August 4: Mission Trip is tentatively scheduled for this week.

Confirmation Commandments
I am not the Lord your God and did not bring you out of slavery into the freedom of the promised land. But I do hope to walk with you through the learning, serving, growing, and having fun that marks a great confirmation ministry. In order to help me I have certain expectations -

1. That you come to confirmation class. We meet virtually every Wednesday evening from now to the end of the school year. If we are going to skip a week we will let you know in advance. If we cancel because of weather we will call you. Otherwise try to be here.

2. That you respect the leaders and participate to the best of your ability. Engage in games, worship, reading and discussion. Put away the cell phones and other distractions. Obey the directions of the leaders.

3. That you will worship on a regular basis. Come to church. There are 2 services on Sunday morning and 1 on Sunday evening. We don't take attendance for worship but to keep you accountable you are expected to do at least 1 sermon review per month. You can print a form below.

4. That you will serve as an acolyte about once per month.

5. That if you are given written work that you will complete and return it.

See there are only 5!
