RED KNIGHTS CHAPTER 34
REGULAR MEETING
29-June-10

The regular meeting of the Red Knights Chapter 34 was called to order by Dan LaClair at 19:09 on June 29, 2010.

Reading and Approval of the previous meeting minutes:

1. Motion to dispense of the reading of the April minutes by Mark, seconded by Chad, carried.

Reading of Correspondence and Action Taken:

1. None.

Treasurers Report:

1. Charity fund: $277.00 + $50 cash

2. General Fund: $1926.15

President’s Report:

1. Dennis got some donations for the raffle: step stone, bird house, wind chime

2. Want a good showing on rides, especially ours.

Vice president:

1. Website is updated: http://www.orgsites.com/ny/redknightschapter34/.

2. Ride list is updated. Aug 14th is the Gleason ride ( 9AM meet at Malone, can set up a spot in Clinton County if there is interest)

Quartermaster’s Report:

1. Orders are in. (If you have something you ordered and have not gotten yet you need to contact Mark or come to a meeting

Road Captain:

1. None, see Vice president report

Secretary’s Report:

1. Working on getting more membership cards. They are handed out at meetings for anyone who has not gotten them.

Committee Reports:

1. Benefit Ride: We are dropping the grand tour format, too many stops. Got approval to end at Morrisonville again. Looking for snack stops at a couple stations. Need to start getting donations for door prizes, soda, food, etc. Looking to advertise in free trader, north countryman, pennysaver, and online.

Applications for Membership:

1. No new applications.

2. Introduced new members, Jeremy and Maria Garrant

Old or Unfinished Business:

1. None

New Business:

1. Voted to repay secretary for stamps and envelopes, $49.40 total. Voted to repay Mark for $50 gift card for Bill Downs after his motorcycle accident

Good of the Chapter / General Discussion:

1. “NYS Fire School” shirts available, $8 each, while quartermaster has some left.

Announcements:

1. The next meeting is July 27th at the Burke Station at 7 PM

2. The 2010 meeting schedule will be:

  • July – Burke
  • August – Churubusco
  • September – Chateaugay
  • October – Malone
  • November – Burke (Annual Meeting)
