A warm 
to the Members of our Chapter; as well as, passers through. . . .
We are a eclectic group of mostly "working girls". . . .Our "playdates" are during the week at night or on weekends. . . Unlike most groups who meet for 1:00 PM tea -- we like to play at night!!!!!We now have members who are "retired", as well as, pink hatters (under 50 crowd) and that's terrific. . . . .We are open to all and love the wonderful mix of gals and personalities. . . . .
We try to schedule our official recess the third Thursday of every month. . . .in between we sometimes go for dinner / drinks / craft fairs / flea markets, etc. You can be as active as you wish -- some of us have more "playtime" than others. . . .Others just join in for our monthly recess and that's just fine. . . .No rules!!!
We are really growing into our Red Hat ensembles. . . .at first, some of us were shy or skeptical about it, but the more we meet -- the more outrageous the outfits are getting -- I love, love love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can't be too over the top or too glitzy. . .That's my thinking.

The spirit of the society forbids that we make rules. It would definitely be against the rules to make rules!!
We are called the National Disorganization because to set rules for Red Hatters is like trying to herd cats!
NO RULES BUT HERE ARE SOME TIPS
* Throw off the structures of society, dears.
* Have fun. Be outrageous!
* Spend your children's inheritance on brandy, Boa's & gloves!
* Sit down on the pavement when you are tired!
* Make up for the sobriety of your youth!
* Excel in your age and savor life!
* Indulge yourself because you deserve it!

Seem's like there's always an idea or two for an outing.. Pass on some of your ideas to the group. How about a day trip to a wine vineyard? Or a bus trip to a casino? Or a scrapbooking class? Or a trip to a museum? Broadway? Ah!!!!! too much to see and do...so little time to go! How about posting your ideas on our message board. Let's make a plan and put it on the calendar
